About KES Electrical Services

KES Electrical Services was founded by Paul and Janine Key, with a simple goal: to bring honest, reliable electrical work to homes and businesses across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, and Norfolk. What started as a small family business in 2015 has grown into a trusted local team — but our values haven't changed. We're still a family-run business at heart, and we still believe that good work starts with good relationships.

Over the years, we've had the privilege of working with homeowners renovating their properties, landlords and letting agents keeping their portfolios safe and compliant, and businesses relying on us for everything from small repairs to major electrical projects. Whatever the job, we approach it the same way: with care, honesty, and a genuine commitment to getting it right the first time.

Today, Paul leads the team out in the field, while Janine keeps things running behind the scenes — managing scheduling, building customer relationships, and handling work orders from some of the area's most prestigious letting agencies and building services maintenance teams. Our three engineers, Tom, Grant, and Will, all joined KES as apprentice electricians and have been fully trained and mentored by Paul — Grant in 2016, Tom in 2018, and Will in 2021. It's a team that carries the same family ethos into every job, built on hands-on experience and genuine pride in doing things properly. (Fun fact: Paul's a lifelong West Ham fan — someone has to be.)

We're proud to be part of the local community, and we take that responsibility seriously — whether that means being there for an emergency callout at short notice, or building long-term relationships with clients who trust us to look after their properties year after year.
